Artist's Comments

This was my first ever attempt at water coloring an anime character, Miyo-Ohki. It was also my last attempt, I belive I failed bad at it. There is almost no shading at all on her ;.; And even the only scann I have of it is extreamly poor quality as well ;.; A really sad excuse for water color.

But I HAD to post it :) (Smile) Sence it's the only color picture of Miyo-Ohki I ever did. I'll try to post everything I draw of her, just because. I think she's cute! Hug

I like it. It's better than anything I could do with watercolours. It looks like the only place it could use a little bit more shading is the hair behind her face but otherwise, it's great!

Another great picture of Miyo-Ohki! ^^ I'm sure you'll improve using watercolours with time...first attempts aren't always the best from my experience.

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Oh, not a total loss. She is very adorable, I really like how you pulled out the highlight on the top part of black hair. :nod: Looks nice. Have you tried watercolor inks? Their brighter and I think easier to control. :)

Water Color Ink... Like Copic and Prisma? I do want to buy some of them ^^ They look like they would be alot of fun to play with :)
